This XTR II model also uses the rear (2nd) focal plane Ballistic 5.56 Gen 3 reticle. This illuminated broken-circle reticle with Mil measurements is made for quick close range target acquisition as well as accurate engagement of longer range targets. The reticle has 11 brightness settings, with intermediate “battery-saver” stops, and is also powered by a single CR2032 battery.
 

This all hand-fitted shock proof and vibration resistant optic with Hi-Lume  multi-coated lenses, which optimizes target resolution and contrast, is an excellent choice for those looking to improve their modern sporting rifle.
